It doesn’t matter if you are a fan of the rock band, AC/DC or not, you are likely familiar with their music. It has been playing on the radio for decades and it doesn’t matter if it is old or new, it is going to be popular.
Recently, the band has been grieving the loss of Colin Burgess, the original drummer from the band. They have confirmed that he died at the age of 77.

In a statement released by AC/DC, they express the sorrow that they felt for the loss of their band member. They said: “Very sad to hear of the passing of Burgess. He was our first drummer and a very respected musician. Happy memories, rock in peace, Colin.”
As of this time, no official cause of death has been released. What is being talked about is the legacy he leaves behind on the history of rock ‘n’ roll.

He was the drummer for AC/DC for a very short amount of time, but it was an important time in their history. He sat at the drums from November 1973 until February 1974.
He has the distinction of being one of the founding members of the band and despite the fact that his time with them was short-lived, it was an impact on their music.

After being accused of being intoxicated on stage, he is said to have left the band at that time. He said that his drink was spiked, but he wasn’t able to reconnect with the band after that time.
Even prior to the time that he was with AC/DC, he was known as a talented drummer. He played with The Master Apprentices from 1968 until 1972.
We will miss his music. May he rest in peace.
