After a terrifying vehicle accident that sent him to the hospital earlier this month, Grayson Chrisley isn’t feeling his best.
The 16-year-old is “beaten up” as a result of the incident that occurred on Saturday, November 12, according to his older sister Savannah Chrisley, 25. During the Tuesday, November 29 episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah, 25, remarked, “He’s OK.”
“He is bruised, but he is well. Thank the Almighty God that it wasn’t worse. During the podcast, Savannah’s mother Julie Chrisley concurred that the situation for the child might have been “a lot worse.”
Page Six reports that although the episode aired on Tuesday, it was actually recorded before the Chrisley family learned the shocking news that Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, the family’s heads of household, would be serving lengthy prison terms.
On November 21, the Chrisley Knows Best cast members received sentences of 12 and 7 years for tax evasion and bank fraud, respectively. They had previously been adjudged responsible for all allegations in June.
Savannah continued by saying that when Grayson originally told her about the accident, she didn’t think much of it. Savannah remarked that the youngster “made it sound like a fender collision” when he told her, “I hit the rear of someone.”
But after inspecting the involved Ford F-150, she declared it “totaled” and noted that all of the airbags had been activated. The host of the podcast admitted, “It was horrible.” “My heart actually sunk when I arrived and saw that.”
Savannah claimed that just after the accident, her brother was the first to point out the obvious. The first thing Grayson said was, “This was the last thing that everyone needed,” Savannah said. “With all the legal crap y’all got going on, Grayson.”
Additionally, she stated that her father Todd responded in a supportive manner by telling her, “You’re alive, and you’re secure, and you’re well.”
According to a Nashville police complaint acquired by HollywoodLife, Grayson was taken to a nearby hospital after allegedly rear-ending a red Dodge vehicle. The damage caused left the front end of the Ford F-150 completely broken with the bumper hanging off.
The turmoil surrounding the renowned family, who were heartbroken by the announcement of the Chrisley parents’ harsh sentencing, seems to have been exacerbated by the accident.
After the sentences were handed down, an insider EXCLUSIVELY informed HollywoodLife that “the entire family was in full shock, and they still are.” “Everyone was crying a lot when they first heard the sentence, and they all became emotional. Nobody could have predicted this outcome.
