Melania Trump’s true feelings about Elon Musk

Melania Trump has been among Donald Trump’s biggest supporters over the years and it’s fair to say she’s stood by him through a lot. The last few years have been tumultuous, not least because of the many court cases against her husband. Melania, perhaps wisely, has chosen to stay out of the spotlight.

She and Donald will once again return to the White House in January, though it’s unclear how much time Melania will actually spend there. Reports suggest that the future First Lady won’t live in the White House full-time, but if that is the case, it appears that Donald has a new best friend he can lean on.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk worked closely with Trump during the presidential campaign, with sources now claiming he’s pretty much worked his way into the family fold. Musk was recently handed a role in Trump’s new administration, and his work – and financial assistance – in helping Donald to victory in the most recent election cannot be understated.

One can imagine that the relationship Elon and Melania must be at least functional given how much time the former has spent with the latter’s husband. Recently, Melania revealed her true feelings for the Space X and Tesla bigwig.

Following the resounding election victory, it’s now set in stone that Melania Trump will return to the White House with her husband, even if People Magazine‘s sources have claimed it’s ‘unlikely’ that she will live there full-time.

“If Melania becomes first lady again, of course people expect her to move into the White House and perform appropriate duties,” a source close to the Trump family said, adding that Melania isn’t keen on relocating to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“She will have her private living apartment there, and she has her home in New York and her home at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. She will spend time in all of these places.”

Melania Trump – will she live at the White House?
Mary Jordan, author of The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump, told ABC: “She has told people, ‘Look, I’m not the one elected.’ So if she wants to go down to Mar-a-Lago and hang out by herself for two weeks, do that. But she is going to be in the White House. She loves a lot of the pomp and circumstance.”

Moreover, sources have told CNN that Melania is expected to mainly live at Trump Tower in New York in order to remain close to her son, Barron Trump, who recently enrolled at New York University. According to the news outlet, she will also spend time at Mar-a-Laga in Palm Beach, Florida.

“She has carte blanche – she can be as active in the East Wing or as inactive as she cares to be,” Kate Bennett, author of Free, Melania, told CNN.

Bennett continued by saying that Melania has decided not to use the past four years to build her own platform, as other first ladies, such as Laura Bush and Michelle Obama, have done.

The author and former CNN White House correspondent explained that first ladies “can retreat into relative privacy, but they still maintain the platform agenda that they established. That’s a big rift. We can respect her need for privacy, but we have to question how deeply she did not use her global recognition.”

Melania Trump said she’s “not anxious” about White House return
Bennett added: “The missed opportunity of this period between her tenure in the White House has been the lack of a continuing platform or policy agenda that most first ladies build on.”

CNN has previously reported that discussions about Melania’s involvement in the Trump Administration are “ongoing.” Meanwhile, it’s pretty clear that the Slovenian-born former model is only slightly interested in engaging in any significant political causes. In October, Melania told Fox that a second term in the White House would be different.
