When 8-year-old Maurice Adams Jr. noticed how one elderly woman was struggling with the stairs, he made so kind to make sure that he was there to help her.

Maurice was leaving his sister’s high school graduation with her and his mom in the car, when he saw a struggling elderly woman with a walker while looking out the window. He asked his mother, Contricia, if he could go out to help the woman.

When 8-year-old Maurice Adams Jr. noticed how one elderly woman was struggling with the stairs, he made so kind to make sure that he was there to help her. Maurice was leaving his sister’s high school graduation with her and his mom in the car, when he saw a struggling elderly woman with a walker while looking out the window. He asked his mother, Contricia, if he could go out to help the woman.

Maurice ran to the woman asking if he could help her, and she happily agreed. He put a hand on her back to help her stay stable and helped her lift the walker with each step.

When they both reached the top of the stairs, they hugged and the old woman and Maurice felt happy and smiled. Then she told Maurice that he was “special”. Maurice ran down the steps and jumped into his mother’s car and they drove off.

Contricia was proud of her son, who took the initiative to help an elderly woman in need. “It’s moving. It’s very moving,” she said later.
Riley, grateful to witness the kindness, posted his video online of an unknown child helping an older woman and wrote:
“Thank God for our youth.”

Many hearts on the net were deeply touched by the kindness of the little boy: “What a loving and compassionate child, one day he will be a wonderful and loving man!” wrote Mary C. “That was very kind gesture. He definitely made her day better and he probably felt so good too. His parents must be very proud. I am too,” wrote Yasmine H.
