The 97-year-old woman was planting flowers in her garden when she woke up surrounded by four pit bulls. She thought she had met her end, but after two of them lunged at her, she saw something that softened her legs…

Dogs are known as man’s best friends, but when you’re not their owner, you might have a completely different idea when it comes to approaching them for a pet.

The story changes especially when it comes to Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and German Shepherds. If you see them freely roaming the streets, anyone’s first reaction would be to run for their life.

Over time, there have been many studies on dog bite injuries, and only 51% of truly serious attacks have been caused by Pit Bulls.

Another study that lasted 15 years confirmed this finding, suggesting that Pit Bulls are indeed a major cause of attacks in urban populations in America.

A woman was taking care of her garden flowers when four aggressive Pit Bulls entered her property and started attacking her.

A few years ago, she had been the victim of a similar attack, and now the 97-year-old woman was working in her garden when four aggressive Pit Bulls suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Sofia said she had been in the garden all day, and the dogs surrounded her, barking at her, then stood next to her until one of them lunged at her.

Luckily, in all the adrenaline, she managed to hit one of them on the head, and they backed off. But it wasn’t the end. Another dog jumped at her, and she didn’t know how she would escape.

Tiger, Sophie’s cat, came to her rescue. The furry hero sensed the danger and distracted the dogs. The cat jumped into the middle of the dogs and then ran towards the garage, with the dogs chasing it, giving Sophie a chance to escape.

The woman recounts, “I don’t know what would have happened if my cat hadn’t intervened. She is very close to me and follows me everywhere. I live alone, and she is my friend.”

After the woman entered the house, she feared that her furry friend wouldn’t survive, but Tiger returned shortly to Sophie’s door.

Anne Daniels, the owner of the dogs, was fined $300, although she mentioned that she didn’t believe her pets were capable of attacking a person.
