TYNE DALY, HER MARRIAGE THAT WAS “ILLEGAL” AND HER CHILDREN, HERE IS HER STORY

Tyne Daly and her husband, Stanford Brown, had a rough life together, as they were an interracial couple, when it was not okay to be with a African-American man.

Daly stated that Brown was the father of her children, and she knew that from the beginning. For 24 years, they had lived happily.

But unfortunately, they had separated in 1990. And moved in different ways in life.

With her three daughters, Daly is a proud mother, and a grandmother, which she stated as a “beautiful and noble job,” about being a grandmother.

She has four grandchildren from her three daughters, and she had talked to Playbill regarding her grandmother duty.

When the couple got married, it was illegal in 17 states to marry a colored man. Even though there were difficulties in their lives, they tried to live through them.

Many people had talked about them, and name their children as, “fated for tragic lives.” But our couple’s heart and love were strong enough to defeat them.

Her granddaughter, Posy Pie had celebrated her 11th birthday on 3rd of August, this year, and Daly’s daughter, Kathryne Dora Brown, had shared some moments from her birthday, on her social media account.
“Anyone who is lucky enough to know Posy Pie will agree that this kid is a dynamic, beautiful light who spreads joy to all. She is strong, hilarious, cuddly, loyal, intelligent, intuitive, kind, dear, has very stinky feet, a beautiful singing voice and gives great shoulder massages.” She captioned the picture she had shared.

“I am thankful each and everyday that I get to be her mommy and watch her grow, but honestly… time is speeding at a frightening pace and I cannot believe that my BABY turned 11 years old today.
Happy Posy Day and many mooooooore!!
I love you, darling girl.” She concluded.

In an interview that happened in 2011, she had talked about her good friend, Sharon Gless. Who were her co-star in “Cagney and Lacey”.

“Sweat makes good friendship cement.” She said about her relationship with Gless.

On her 77th age, she is still acting on stages, and recently she had moved back to the Broadway, with the play, “Doubt: A Parable.”

On 22nd of February, this year, she had celebrated her 77th age, and her daughter had shared her lovely smiling picture from her social media account.
