The heartbreaking news has been delivered to adored star Sylvester Stallone.

Dolph Lundgren allegedly delivered several powerful blows to Sylvester Stallone during the filming of “Rocky IV,” causing him to need medical attention.

In a movie-related production documentary that can be viewed on the actor’s YouTube site, Sylvester Stallone asserts, “He pulverized me.” Later that night, even though I wasn’t aware of it at the time, my chest began to hurt.

Stallone likened the discomfort to what happens when your chest is pushed into the steering wheel of a car after a collision.

He said when his blood pressure hit 260, they thought I was going to start communicating to angels. They thought I would be talking to angels.

The actor allegedly spent four days in the intensive care unit at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, after being transported there from Canada. He said that his trip had been completed in a “low altitude flight.”

“I’m in intensive care, and the only other people here are nuns,” he said. After that, I was forced to return to the arena and finish the battle.

Stallone claims that the hit Lundgren received to the chest while portraying the formidable Soviet boxer Ivan Drago is in the movie.

The question is, “How on earth could you possibly exclude that?” Stallone said.

Sylvester Stallone returns as the heroic fighter Rocky Balboa in “Rocky IV,” continuing the acclaimed “Rocky” series. He hurries to the Soviet Union to fight Drago after discovering that his buddy Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) had been murdered by Drago, who had already established himself as the world boxing champion in the fourth film.
